BETHLEHEM UNITED is a U-19 LAUNCHING PAD!

July 14, 2016

Driven by the desire to provide a healthy, supportive and affordable soccer program in a community with a strong soccer culture, Bethlehem United FC is committed to building strong relationships and quality character through the sport we love most. With a focus on technical skill, fitness training, successful repetition and togetherness, our welcoming team is dedicated to player development and forging better relationships with the ball and each other.

Our under-19 youth soccer club is located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and competes against teams from Pennsylvania and New Jersey in the Central Jersey Youth Soccer Association (CJYSA) and Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA). This year, we also had a strong showing in the Pennsylvania State Cup soccer tournament by finishing in the top four in the region.

Our program is in its fourth year of providing premier-level soccer coaching and instruction at an affordable price, to all participating families.

Our BU players are extremely dedicated athletes. That is to say that soccer is their primary sport, and they intend to advance to the next level as collegiate scholar-athletes after graduation from high school.

Bethlehem United trains and plays all home games with Bethlehem Steel’s historic blast furnaces on the horizon, while the team is in action at Glasser Field (located at corner of East Market St and Stefko Blvd.) The team proudly wears its signature wide-flange steel beam logo, and the kits are highlighted with red to recognize the molten steel forged in the past.

The foundation of the team live and play in Bethlehem high schools, though others are welcomed from throughout the Lehigh Valley including Allentown, Easton, Nazareth and Palmerton. This is a particularly exciting time to be a Bethlehem United player. All players have the unique opportunity to work with a staff who are recognized and respected for both their excellence in coaching and their exceptional knowledge and community leadership. The cycle of learning this great game — discovery, practice, determination, repetition and implementation through competition — occur naturally in our club. Through our combined love of the game and team approach, players are be empowered with the skills to succeed on and off the field.
